SEJAK Minggu 22 Juli silam sudah jatuh 33 orang korban, bahkan 10 di antaranya meninggal dunia. Keracunan massal tiba-tiba menyerang desa yang sebagian besar penduduknya hidup dalam kemiskinan ini. Apa penyebab keracunan massal ini memang masih tetap jadi misteri. Walau Menteri Kesehatan Dr. dr. Siti Fadhilah Supari, Sp. JK (K) mengklaim keracunan tersebut disebabkan oleh tempe gembus, namun warga sulit untuk menerimanya. Pasalnya, walau sudah puluhan tahun mereka mengkonsumsi tempe yang terbuat dari ampas kedelai itu, namun tak satupun di antara mereka yang pernah meregang nyawa gara-gara tempe ini.

Kesimpulan bahwa penyebab kematian 10 warga Dusun Beran, Desa Kanigoro, Ngablak, Magelang, adalah karena mengonsumsi tempe gembus, juga diragukan kebenarannya oleh peneliti tempe UGM Prof. Dr. Ir. Mary Astuti. Pernyataan Menkes bahwa tempe gembus sebagai penyebab kematian, dinilainya sangat tergesa-gesa dan kurang berdasar.

Terlepas dan pro dan kontra tersebut, Setidaknya kesedihan masih tetap terpancar di raut wajah Ngadinah 60 tahun. Bagi perempuan yang renta dan ringkih ini, sebuah kramat kecil baru saja dialaminya. Dalam dua hari Ngadinah harus kehilangan suami, kakak adik, dan seorang kemenakan. Sebuah wabah penyakit yang menyerang tempat tinggalnya di Desa Kanigoro, membuat rumahnya harus bertambah sunyi sebab kehilangan sebagian besar penghuninya.

Kesedihan tak hanya ada di rumah Ngadinah. Dua dusun, masing-masing Beran dan Pete, juga kehilangan sejumlah penduduknya akibat penyakit yang masih diliputi misteri itu. Para korban berjatuhan dengan gejala yang nyaris sama. Mereka mengalami mual, badan lemas, diare, dan muntah-muntah, sebelum akhirnya tak sadarkan diri. Ada yang meninggal dunia, ada pula yang dilarikan ke rumah sakit dan mendapat perawatan.

“Penyakit itu menyerang dalam tempo cepat,” kenang Ngadinah dengan raut wajah memelas. Ia lalu bercerita, pada hari Minggu itu dan suaminya masih sempat menshalatkan parsih 61 tahun, kakak kandungnya yang terserang penyakit. Tak sampai 12 jam kemudian, giliran sang suami, Samsudi, 56 tahun, yang meninggal dunia. Setelah itu, . berturut-turut adiknya, Surami, 37 tahun, dan kemenakannya, Musi, 36 tahun, yang meninggal dunia dengan gejala serupa.

Petaka yang juga dialami warga dusun yang lain itu, sontak membuat gempar. Tak hanya di Kanigoro, tapi sampai ke seluruh negeri. Departemen Kesehatan pun menurunkan timnya untuk meneliti sebab musabab peristiwa tersebut. Tak ketinggalan para peneliti dari berbagai lembaga. Adapun petugas medis sibuk mengurusi para korban yang berjatuhan.

Benarkah peristiwa keracunan massal tersebut sebagai akibat dari tempe gembus seperti yang ditudingkan Menteri Kesehatan? Ternyata, pernyataan ini serta merta ditampik para penduduk desa. Pasalnya, tak semua korban yang jatuh telah mengkonsumsi penganan yang terbuat dari ampas perasan kedelai untuk membuat tahu tersebut.

Keragunan ini juga diperkuat dengan analisa ahli pangan dari Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian UGM, Prof. Dr. Endang Sutriswati Rahayu. Keduanya sepakat, penyakit itu timbul lantaran lingkungan desa yang sanitasinya buruk. Warga masih berinteraksi erat dengan binatang peliharaan tanpa disertai budaya mencuci tangan dengan sabun sebelum makan.

Mary mengatakan, tempe gembus yang dijual di pasar sekitar Desa Kanigoro tidak menggunakan ampas kelapa. Apalagi, tempe gembus yang dimakan warga berasal dari Kecamatan Grabag yang berbatasan dengan Kecamatan Ngablak. Mestinya, warga Grabag pun ikut menjadi korban kalau penyebab serangan wabah tersebut benar akibat keracunan tempe gembus.

“Penyakit itu disebabkan bakteri E-coli dari spesies E-colihermorapie yang muncul akibat sanitasi buruk. Bakteri patogen ini terdapat pada kotoran ternak. Tapi untuk kepastiannya, memang harus dilakukan penelitian secara intensif” kata Mary.

Tapi bantahan juga muncul dari warga. Sanitasi buruk, kata Kepala Desa Kanigoro Gadang Rintoko, sudah terjadi selama bertahun-tahun. Selama itu tidak ada musibah. “Beberapa waktu lalu memang pernah terjadi diare, tapi tidak sampai meninggal dunia”, ujarnya.

Kajian Klenik

Tak pelak, petaka yang terjadi di Desa Kanigoro juga menarik perhatian kalangan paranormal. Adalah Drs. H. Imam Suroso yang turun tangan secara langsung untuk menyingkap misteri apakah gerangan yang ada di balik peristiwa yang amat menghebohkan tersebut. Bersama beberapa orang santrinya, paranormal yang akrab dengan sapaan Mbah Roso ini melakukan deteksi langsung di lokasi.

Ketika melakukan ritual gaib di makam Mbah Bero, yang merupakan pendiri Dusun Beran, tubuh Mbah Roso tampak bergetar.

“Aku ora ngganggu gawe rakyatku dhewe. Dudhu… dudhu aku (Aku tidak mengganggu rakyatku sendiri. Bukan …bukan aku…)” Cetus Mbah Roso.

Rupanya, gaib Mbah Bero menyusup ke dalam wadag Mbah Roso. Sang gaib mengatakan, bukan dia penyebar pageblug nggegirisi yang meminta wadhal nyawa itu. Sebelumnya, banyak warga setempat yang menduga pagebluk tersebut disebarkan oleh gaib Mbah Bero yang marah karena makamnya dipugar tanpa izin.

Dalam ritual ini tampak pula peristiwa unik, yakni ketika terjadi perkelahian antara Mbah Roso dengan siluman Banaspati. Mulanya, paranormal ini agak kewalahan. Tapi dengan tasbih pusaka miliknya, ia berhasil mematahkan serangan siluman itu.

Setelah pergulatan itu, mata Mbah Roso nanar menyapu ke segala arah. Langkahnya kemudian berhenti pada kelebatan rumpun bambu di luar areal makam di mana di sebelahnya ada jurang yang cukup dalam.

“Siluman Banaspati lari ke sana!” Beri tahu Mbah Roso.

la lalu megajak Muspika, Kapolsek Ngablak AKP Suprayudhi dan Danramil Ngablak Kapt. Inf. Ignatius, kepala desa setempat dan warga untuk melakukan sholat gaib. Usai sholat, Mbah Roso menghampiri rumpun bambu yang telah dideteksi sebelumnya. Dengan kemampuan waskitanya ia merasa yakin rumpun di bambu Itu terdapat semacam markas Siluman Banaspati. Mereka hijrah dari Gunung Merapi, untuk kemudian menebar maut di desa itu, yakni dengan menciptakan pageblug yang menelan korban nyawa warga. Untuk mengusir kawanan Banaspati tersebut, Mbah Roso menggelar Ritual Ruwatan Ghaib Sengkolo Pageblug. Barangkali, inilah ritual terberat yang pernah dilakukannya. Ketika keris Singkir Pageblug diacungkannya ke angkasa, sekonyong-konyong. angin puting beliung berputar di rumpun bambu itu.

Setelah angin aneh tersebut reda, pusaka Kyai Singkir Pageblug ditanam di bawah rumpun bambu. Hal ini sekaligus sebagai pertanda Desa telah dikunci kekuatan gaib Mbah Roso sehingga aura hitam berupa pageblug tak bakal lagi merajalela.

Selepas penanaman pusaka, Mbah Roso membagi berkarung-karung beras, berdus-dus mie instan, bergalon air mineral, dan uang tunai jutaan rupiah, kepada warga yang menjadi korban.

Lewat ritual yang dilakukannya, Mbah Roso meyakini adanya campur tangan gaib dalam kasus kematian massal yang terjadi di Desa Kanigoro. “Buktinya, setelah saya melakukan ritual dan penanaman pusaka Singkir Pageblug, hingga kini Desa Kanigoro tidak lagi terserang penyakit itu” tandas Mbah Roso yang baru saja mendapatkan penghargaan dari Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI) atas prestasinya menggelar pawai bendera terpanjang pada 17 Agustus lalu di Pati, Jawa Tengah.

Dengan kapasitasnya sebagai paranormal, keyakinan Mbah Roso itu tentu sangat sah. Apalagi dia sudah membuktikan, melihat, dan merasakan keberadaan makhluk-makhluk alam gaib berwujud siluman Banaspati itu. #KyaiPamungkas
